Hindi Diwas Celebration

Hindi Diwas is celebrated on the 14th of September every year across India. It is a day dedicated to honouring our official language and provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate India’s rich cultural diversity while strengthening our bond with the Hindi language.

This year, our school organized a vibrant celebration on September 27, 2025. The programme commenced with an insightful introductory session by Mrs. Priya Date, who shared the historical importance and significance of the day with the students. A motivating Hindi Diwas speech was also delivered by Mrs. Varsha Jadhav, which inspired students to respect and use Hindi in their daily lives.

To encourage student participation and showcase their talents, several inter-class competitions were organized:

  • Class 6 (Classroom Decoration): Students of Class 6 participated with great enthusiasm, decorating their classrooms with creative displays centred around the Hindi language.
  • Class 7 (Essay Writing): An essay writing competition was held for Class 7 students. They shared their thoughts on inspiring topics such as “My Country – India” and “Unity & Integrity of the Nation.”
  • Class 8 (Elocution): For the students of Class 8, an elocution competition was organized. The participants spoke eloquently on topics including the “Importance of Hindi Diwas” and the “Importance of Books.

Students of the primary section also actively participated by decorating their classrooms with colourful posters carrying meaningful Hindi slogans, which added charm and enthusiasm to the celebration.

The programme was a great success, fostering a sense of pride among the students. To recognize their hard work and talent, certificates were distributed to the winners and participants. It was truly a day dedicated to the spirit of our heritage and language.
