Black Colour Day Celebration

Black Colour Day was celebrated on 13th January 2026 to help children recognize and appreciate the colour black. Black is a strong and special colour; it’s the colour of the night sky and coal, and it makes other colours look brighter.

– Teachers showed many black objects, both natural and artificial.

– The school premises were decorated with a black theme and the bulletin board was beautifully illustrated in black.

– All the children wore black clothes.

– Students brought healthy snacks like blackcurrants and blackberries in their tiffins.

– Children learnt that pandas, penguins, and crows have black coats, and that the night sky is black with shiny stars.

Children understood that black is a popular colour in fashion and nature. Black is the colour of the night, full of mystery and quite beauty. Black is strong, Black is deep.
