On 11th August 2025, our school premises buzzed with cultural fervour as we celebrated Sanskrit Diwas, a day dedicated to honouring the ancient language of Sanskrit. We were honoured to have our esteemed Principal, Mrs. Nidhi Samant mam, grace the occasion as the chief guest.
The celebration commenced with a soulful Sanskrit prayer followed by a melodious Sanskrit song performed by talented students. The programme featured an insightful session by a senior teacher who elaborated on the profound importance and significance of the Sanskrit language, highlighting its rich literary heritage and its influence on modern languages.
Students showcased their creativity and knowledge through various activities:
–Interactive charts: Students of 8th to 10th standards prepared detailed charts about renowned Sanskrit poets and authors, displaying their verses and contributions.
– Interactive games: Engaging activities such as puzzles and crosswords related to Sanskrit shlokas were organized for the students, promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills.
– Cultural performances: A group of students presented sanskrit subhashit (proverbs), Antakshari (a word-chain game), and memory games conducted entirely in Sanskrit, showcasing their linguistic proficiency.
The event was meticulously planned and executed under the guidance of Mrs.Janhavi Natu and Mr.Maltesh Joshi, with valuable support from Mrs. Sayalee Kachre and Ms.Radhika Date. Their efforts ensured a smooth and enriching experience for everyone involved.
