Counselling by DES University Program

Class: 8th Standard

Venue: School Auditorium

On 25th September 2025, a counselling programme was conducted by a team of counsellors from DES University for students of 8th standard. The session aimed at helping students identify their strengths, interests, and future aspirations through interactive activities and one‑to‑one counselling.

The session began with engaging activities and games designed by the counsellors to help students reflect on their personality traits, learning styles, and areas of interest. These activities allowed students to introspect and understand their unique strengths and potential career paths.

Following the activities, the counsellors shared insights based on the students’ responses, highlighting key strengths and areas for improvement. Individual counselling sessions were then conducted with students and their parents. The one‑to‑one session allowed for personalized feedback and guidance on academic paths, subject choices, and career options aligned with each student’s aptitude.

The session was highly impactful, with students gaining clarity on their academic and career choices. Parents appreciated the opportunity to understand their child’s strengths and aspirations better and expressed gratitude for the school’s initiative.

The school acknowledges the efforts of the counsellors from DES University and looks forward to organising more such insightful sessions for student development.
