Bhondla Celebration – Pre-Primary Section

Bhondla Celebration – Pre-Primary Section

Date: 15th October 2026

Venue: Maharashtriya Mandal’s English Medium School, Pre-Primary Section, Tilak Road

To preserve our culture and keep traditions alive, Maharashtriya Mandal’s English Medium School, Pre-Primary Section organised the traditional Bhondla celebration. On 15th October 2026, the students of the Pre-Primary Section celebrated Bhondla with great enthusiasm. All the students gathered on the school ground and made a traditional circle around the Bhondla elephant. They sang traditional Bhondla songs melodiously along with their teachers. At the end of the celebration, as a part of the traditional ‘Khirapat’, students brought healthy and simple traditional snacks – Idli and Chutney – in their tiffins. The students, along with their teachers, enjoyed the programme immensely.
