Shiv Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school to honour the bravery and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

MMEMS Dignitaries Coordinator: Aditi Sahasrabudhe Ma’am Chief Guest: Mr. Akshayraje Patil – M.Sc. Environmental Science, Snake Rescuer for 15 years, Weapon Replica Artist, History Enthusiast Guidance & Participation: Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff Celebration Highlights Decoration & Worship: The venues were beautifully decorated with patakas and saffron flags. An idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was placed in the centre and offered garland and flowers.
Pooja and Aarti were performed by the teaching and non-teaching staff. On 19th Feb, the Aarti was performed by Aditi Sahasrabudhe Ma’am and Chief Guest Mr. Akshayraje Patil. Speeches & Learning: Teachers spoke to the children about the bravery, courage, leadership, and vision of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and explained his importance in Indian history. Mr. Akshayraje Patil addressed the students and narrated inspiring stories about Maharaj’s life, values, and administration.
Student Participation: Pre-primary children dressed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Rajmata Jijau spoke a few lines about them. Students raised powerful slogans: “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Ki Jai!” and “Jai Shivaji, Jai Bhavani!”
The programme concluded with traditional Powadas presented by Viraj Sorate and Vedantika Supekar of Std. VIII. A Powada was also played on the sound system during the Pre-Primary celebration.
The celebration helped children connect with our great history and heritage. It inspired them with the core values of bravery, leadership, discipline, and love for the nation.
The event was memorable and was enjoyed by all students and staff.
