Maharashtriya Mandal’s Pre-primary Section, Tilak Road, celebrated the festival of lights, Diwali, with great enthusiasm and festive spirit. The entire school was filled with joy and excitement. The atmosphere was vibrant, colourful and beautifully decorated with diyas, lanterns and rangoli. Teachers made lovely displays on the bulletin boards depicting Goddess Laxmi, faral (Diwali Sweets) and other festive decorations related to Diwali.
Children came dressed in bright and colourful traditional outfits. They were very happy and excited to celebrate the festival with their friends and teachers. The celebration included activities like lantern making, diya colouring and killa making, which the children enjoyed thoroughly. Teachers also spoke about the significance of Diwali.
It was truly a delightful and memorable celebration that helped the little ones understand the essence of Diwali and spread happiness all around!
