Pink Colour Day was celebrated on 26th February 2026 to help children identify and appreciate the colour pink. Pink is a soft and lovely colour created by mixing red and white. It represents love, kindness, happiness, and joy.
Pink is the colour of roses, balloons, flamingos, cotton candy, and bubblegum. It is a sweet, pretty, and happy colour that makes us feel warm and smiley inside. Pink is cheerful and calming, and is popular for fostering creativity in early childhood education through themes of nature, food, and fun.
· Teachers showed many pink objects, both natural and artificial.
· School premises was decorated with a pink theme and the bulletin board was beautifully illustrated in pink.
· All children wore pink clothes.
· Students brought healthy snacks like dragon fruit and beetroot cutlets in their tiffins.
· Children learnt to connect pink with flowers, toys, clothes, and happy feelings.
The day helped children recognize the colour pink in their surroundings and understand its association with love, kindness, and joy.
