Holi, the festival of colours, was celebrated in our school on Monday, 2nd March 2026 with great enthusiasm and joy.
Teachers gave information about Holi and Dhulivandan. The story of Bhakt Prahlad & Holika was narrated to children to explain the significance of the festival. Teachers emphasized the importance of using natural, eco-friendly colours to play Holi.
· Children and teachers played Holi by applying eco-friendly colours to each other.
· Holi-themed art activities were conducted class-wise:
Class-wise Activities:
1. Mini KG: Balloon printing activity
2. Junior KG: Brush sprinkler and pressing both sides to create beautiful patterns on paper
3. Senior KG: Sponge printing activity.
Children learnt about the cultural story behind Holi, the importance of eco-friendly celebrations, and expressed creativity through colour-based art. Children enjoyed the Holi celebration a lot.
